Prince George and Princess Charlotte were the picture of excitement as they waved goodbye to the crowds before boarding a seaplane with their parents, Prince William and Kate, on Saturday. The two children stayed at the Government House in Victoria for their duration of their stay, and made their only official royal engagement at a children's party on Thursday.
The proud parents shared a video of their children's time in Canada, writing that they had created "such happy memories" during their visit, and the Prince released a statement, saying: "We feel very lucky to have been able to introduce George and Charlotte to Canada. This country will play a big part in the lives of our children and we have created such happy memories for our family during this visit."
After waving at hundreds of well-wishers, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge boarded a seaplane in Victoria, British Columbia where three-year-old George was treated to one last excitement. The young royal was invited into the cockpit of the seaplane where he was given the chance - under guidance - to play with some of the controls. Prior to their arrival, the young Prince was seen sat in the seaplane with his nose pressed against the window whilst wearing a pair of ear defenders.
The Duchess stepped out in a chic Zara and H&M ensemble for her visit to the Cridge Centre, a charitable institution working in social care and domestic violence among other fields, on her final day of the royal tour in Canada. Kate spent time chatting about her son Prince George at the Cridge Centre. 20-year-old Zara Auld from Victoria said: "Kate asked me what I like to do and I told her cooking. She asked me what and I said Italian like pizza and pasta and she said George loves that."
The next day, Kate joined in with the hard work while taking a tour of Victoria Harbour for the final day of the royal tour in Canada. The pair were spotted heaving on the rigging on a ship named Pacific Grove while they spent time with young people who are part of a charity which uses sailing to help them find direction.
During their tour on Friday, the Duke and Duchess officially opened the new Haida Gwaii Hospital and Care Centre. The new centre aims to house facilities that have already helped change people's lives on the island, with locals no longer having to leave Haida Gwaii to have children, and being able to be close to loved ones.
Prince William and Kate arrived in style with their children, Prince George and Princess Charlotte. They were the guests of honour at a bash thrown in the gardens of Government House, British Columbia, on Thursday afternoon.
Princess Charlotte managed to steal the show at a children's party at Canada's Government House. This marked the young royal's first ever official engagement. She spent time making new friends, played with a dog named Moose and had fun with the toys brought in for the occasion.

Little Princess Charlotte looked simply adorable in a £74 pale blue frock with pink smocking and a peter pan collar from Pepa & Co. Her dress was styled with a matching blue knit cardigan from Spanish brand Mi Lucero and cute little pumps.
On day five of the royal tour, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge enjoyed the beautiful sights and surroundings of Carcross. They watched mountain biking and made a surprise decision to walk along the edge of a railway line after touring a steam train. They were told the Queen and Prince Philip had travelled on the train when they visited the region nearly 60 years ago.
Prince William and Kate appeared to be in great spirits as they carefully sidestepped the railway line. With a bright smile on her face, Kate looked perfectly fearless. She wore a chic grey coat, which was designed by renowned Canadian fashion brand, Sentaler. Her outdoorsy getup was styled further with her trusty brown leather knee-high boots by Penelope Chilvers and dark skintight jeans.
Earlier on, the royal couple paid a visit to the MacBride Museum of Yukon History before exploring the rest of Canadian town, Whitehorse. Following a lively street party, Prince William and Kate received a traditional welcome from the Carcross/Tagish First Nation at Carcross Commons.
Wrapped up warm in a striking red Carolina Herrera coat, Kate, 34, looked absolutely exquisite as she greeted several well-wishers. Her glossy brunette tresses were worn in a chic chignon, while her pretty facial features were highlighted with subtle tones of makeup. Meanwhile, Prince William looked handsome as ever in dark trousers and a fitted navy blazer. During their visit to Yukon history museum in Whitehorse, the pair sent their first joint public tweet.
On day four of their tour, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge boarded a plane and arrived in the city of Whitehorse in the northern Yukon Territory on Tuesday evening. Kate, 34, looked as stylish as ever for the occasion in a chic emerald green coat from Hobbs, which was styled further with an L.K. Bennett nude clutch bag and nude heels.
At the start of the day, Prince William and Kate paid a visit to the Okanagan Campus of the University of British Columbia, where they were met with rapturous cheers and applause by fans who had gathered with signs in honour of their arrival. Kate looked picture perfect in the bottle green dress, a bespoke creation by Dolce & Gabbana.
They travelled on to the Government of British Columbia 'Taste of BC' community event, hosted at Mission Hill Winery in Kelowna, where they witnessed the best of agribusiness and the food sector in the region, and learned about the youth training programmes on offer.
The royal couple were treated to local delicacy 'geoclams' in British Columbia during the trip. Smiling politely, William and Kate happily indulged in the food treats, which the chef admitted were phallic.
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge were treated to a lavish reception in their honour at Government House in Victoria, Canada. Kate was simply dazzling in a £1000 red dress from Preen as she and Prince William mingled with 200 guests in the ballroom at the Government of British Columbia Reception.
Earlier on, the royal couple were all smiles for their trip to the Great Bear Rainforest, where they were greeted by First Nation leaders and the local community. During their visit, the Duke and Duchess also took the opportunity to attend a ceremony for the official dedication of the rainforest to the Queen's Commonwealth Canopy, as part of its forest conservation initiative.
They listened to several speeches from senior members of the Heiltsuk community about the battle to protect and nurture their traditional lands. "When we protect our rivers, oceans, atmospheres, or like today,our forests, we are telling our children that their future prosperity cannot be disconnected from the health of the natural world," Prince William told the room. "Her Majesty is immensely grateful to you, and the people of Canada, for the leadership you have shown in making this contribution."
Prince William and the Duchess of Cambridge didn't let the rain dampen their spirits as they arrived in Bella Bella on Monday for their third day in Canada. Kate managed to see the funny side as she tried to open her umbrella while stepping off the small private plane.

The Duke and Duchess arrived in Canada for the start of their official tour with Prince George and Princess Charlotte on Saturday.
