The Queen's annual pre-Christmas lunch took place at Buckingham Palace on Wednesday. The dinner is a royal tradition, allowing the monarch to see members of the extended royal family who won't be spending Christmas at Sandringham with her immediate family. Members of the royal family arrived at the palace for the dinner, but do you recognise them all? Click through to find out all of the royals attending the pre-Christmas lunch.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle

This will be the first time Prince Harry's fiancé, Meghan Markle, will meet the Queen's extended family. Her appearance at the palace comes a week after she attended the Kensington Palace annual staff Christmas party, and her invitation to the event is a testament to their commitment, particularly as partners aren't usually invited to official Christmas events.

The former Suits actress was snapped driving through the gates of Buckingham Palace with Prince Harry, who was dressed in a suit and tie, while Meghan wore a Self-Portrait midi dress, which she complemented with stunning diamond earrings.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge

Prince William and Kate were spotted driving into the grounds at Buckingham Palace with their two children, Prince George and Princess Charlotte, in the back seat. The couple's nanny, Maria Teresa Turrion Borrallo, was sat in between the two children in the back of the car, presumably to keep an eye on the little Prince and Princess during the annual dinner.

The Duke and Duchess of Cornwall waved and smiled at the crowds on their way to the dinner. Since the royal couple live in Clarence House, they didn't have to travel far to visit the palace!

However, he was knighted by his mother-in-law as a Knight Commander of the Royal Victorian Order in 2011.
