Colonel Saab Tasting Menu
Treat yourself to a night of fine Indian dining at Colonel Saab. We visited the restaurant at Trafalgar Square (there's also a premise in High Holborn if you're that end of town), and were immediately wowed by the stunning decor - think chandeliers and sumptuous fabrics mixed with a treasure trove of personal artefacts and trinkets. The mastermind of Roop Partap Choudhary, Colonel Saab is a "love letter" to his family, inspired by his parents incredible travel stories of journeying through India.
We sampled the tasting menu, a six dish journey through Indian cuisine with highlights including the warming Rasam, the dish I could have eaten all night - the Anglo Indian Chicken Chop - and the stunningly flavoured Sunday Lamb Curry. Leave room for dessert, because the Mishti Doi Cheesecake is worth every single bite.
Don't sleep on the cocktails either, they're a treat to the tastebuds too. Our favourite? Spicy Gunpowder Margarita, and there's also mocktails (I tried the fruity Indian Sling).
George at ASDA AW Collection
From metallic jeans to paired back knits, collegiate sweatshirts and mesh floral pieces, the new season edit from George at ASDA is anything but ordinary. With prices starting from £8, its well worth a browse online or when you're next doing your weekly shop.
How we choose the HELLO! Loves list every month
- Tried and tested: We like to highlight things the HELLO! office have been lucky enough to try, from products to treatments to food, so if we've tried it and loved it, we'll include it!
- New in: Most if not all products or items featured are new for the month, or season, to keep the list fresh and up to date.
- Personal opinion: If we haven't been able to test something, we still might want to let readers know about it - and we only include brands or products that as a team love.
