Norwegian Royals

King Harald V is the head of the Norwegian royal family, having ascended the throne in 1991 following his father Olav V's death. He married Sonja Haraldsen in 1968 and the couple went on to have a daughter,  Princess Martha Louise, and Crown Prince Haakon in 1971 and 1973 respectively.

Haakon is the heir to the Norwegian throne and married Mette-Marit Tjessem Høiby in 2001, who has an older son, Marius Borg Høiby, from a previous relationship. The couple share two children, Princess Ingrid Alexandra and Prince Sverre Magnus, who are second and third in line to the throne.

Meanwhile, Martha Louise shares three children with her late husband, Ari Behn – Maud Angelica, Leah Isadora and Emma Tallulah, all of whom are untitled. Martha Louise, who is a businesswoman and alternative therapist, does not carry out royal duties.
