Sarah Jessica Parker has been enjoying some time out with her family in Capri. The petite actress was photographed with her husband Matthew Broderick and their son James soaking up the sun on the Mediterranean isle.
Onlookers would be forgiven for wondering what is the secret of their happiness, but Sarah says it's very simple. Speaking in an interview on American television, the 39-year-old revealed that she is rather more motherly than her headstrong character in Sex And The City.
"I take care of him. I pack for him, I shop for him and I get his groceries," she said. "He's taken care of. That's who Matthew is – people take care of him. It's practically involuntary."
Asked whether there is anything she would like to change about the man in her life, Sarah wished only that he would move a little faster. "He walks too slowly and I walk really quickly. He never hails the cab – never. I've been doing it forever, so I guess he just thinks, 'well, she does it so well'."
Both she and Matthew will have plenty to keep them occupied when they return to New York, because they are about to start work on a new black comedy called Strangers With Candy.
