Guests, including an impressive roster of show biz pals, such as Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow and David Schwimmer, got to enjoy the luscious scenery of Kauai – an island in the Hawaiian archipelago – when they jetted in to see Friends star Matt Le Blanc wed Melissa Knight.
The A-list invitees stayed at the Princeville resort, a paradise within a paradise, set among the swaying palms, majestic mountains and stunning beaches of the Garden Isle. Ten suites, featuring such indulgent details as antique furnishings and original artworks, are available in the 23-acre grounds. Its 2,400-square-foot crown jewel, the Royal Suite, boasts a panoramic view of Hanalei Bay and the Pacific Ocean, as well as full butler's kitchen and deluxe spa, all for $4,800 per night.
Ultra relaxed, the 25-minute ceremony took place on a secluded property overlooking the exclusive Anini Beach, with white gardenias lining the path to the ceremony. In fitting with the informal affair, many guests donned floral Hawaiian shirts, and Matt wore a simple suit, opting for a ginger-flower lei instead of a tie. The reception also had an authentic island feel, with hula and Samoan fire dancers performing as guests dined on sushi, oysters, and a local seafood delicacy mahimahi, followed by a four-tiered passion fruit cake.
