Though she's set to film Oscar-winning director Pedro Almodovar's newest film in Spain this July, it looks like the movie shoot isn't Penelope Cruz's only summer plan.
According to reports, the Spanish beauty will be joining boyfriend Matthew McConaughey on one of his famed caravan road trips in the US. Penelope has previously camped out with Matthew, whose preferred accommodation is his $65,000 Airstream caravan, decked out with all the creature comforts of home.
"I like the five-star treatment, but I like the trailer as well. It means freedom to me," he says. The actor famously went on an American cross-country road trip to promote the couple's adventure film Sahara. "I sleep in that trailer almost every night," he said at the time. "I drive the truck that pulls it. I meet people and do barbecues in RV parks."
Though Matthew says Penelope "loves" caravanning – she was spotted hanging out with her beau outside his motor home in Austin, Texas, last summer – it looks like this camping holiday may put the relationship to the test.
"Marriage?" he said when asked about a walk down the aisle. "I don't know about that. Let's see how this vacation goes."
