Stretching from the Atlantic-lapped city of Huelva in the southwest to Almería in the Mediterranean-fringed east, the Andalusia coastline makes the perfect playground for visitors in search of relaxation in the sun. Leave your daily routine behind and come and relax on its clean, well-tended golden sands and swim in its crystal clear waters. Andalusia makes the perfect place to recharge your batteries; cast adrift and let the warm breezes, sparkling vistas and sound of gently murmuring waves fill your senses.

The region is a perfect location no matter what your tastes, including remote, untouched coves ideal for naturism and fun-filled marine resorts offering a host of sporting adventures. The fascinating desert landscapes of the Coast of Almería make for exciting exploration, while the stunning Cabo de Gata-Níjar Nature Reserve is a favourite destination for snorkellers and scuba divers.

Meanwhile, the tropical coast of Granada - which enjoys 320 days of sunshine a year - is scattered with towns which have long played host to overseas visitors, such as Motril, Salobreña and Almuñécar. If golf is your game, then head for the Costa del Sol in Malaga province where over 50 fabulous courses await.

In search of a bit of old world charm? The history-packed fishing villages along the Costa de la Luz, bordering the provinces of Huelva and Cadiz, will captivate you, while the region's world-famous Doñana National Park nature reserve offers a completely different type of escape.

A stunning region fringed by beautiful Blue Flag beaches and crystal clear waters, the Andalusian coast, with its charming fishing villages, fabulous cuisine and fascinating historical heritage make it an unforgettable destination in which to treat yourself to a few days in the sun.
