Costa Rica calls Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth into its romantic realm

January 31, 2013

Scorching sunshine, beautiful sandy beaches and romantic vistas – it's no wonder A-lister couple Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth chose Costa Rica for some new year beach relaxation. And soon-to-be married Miley and her Hunger Games beau were among the many to escape to the tropics for a pre-wedding treat last week. Having met while filming The Last Song in 2010, one of Hollywood's hottest couples looked more loved up than ever as they snuggled up in the Costa Rican sand, swam in the cool crystalline sea and hiked in the dense forested jungle.

The starlets were pictured with Liam's brother Luke, as well as his wife and two daughters, at LAX airport before they flew to the central American state where they soaked up the sun and rejuvenated their energy in palm-fringed paradise. Miley even practiced some yoga moves on the shore. The Hannah Montana star tweeted "rare 2 get a moment to thank the universe for all my blessings in the form of yoga in a place like this." The 20-year-old pop sensation also shared a snapshot with celebrity stylist Jacqueline Rezak, and showed off her incredibly toned, tanned tummy and quirky beach attire.

Between them, Miley and Australian actor Liam are estimated to have grossed around $63 million at the box office in the last three years – so it's only natural to assume that a luxurious affair was on the cards for the Costa Rican getaway. And with a flare for luxury and real relaxation in mind, HELLO!
