Prince George's christening: inside the Chapel Royal at St James's Palace

October 22, 2013

The day William and Kate have been busy preparing for has arrived. The christening of their baby Prince George will take place in the Chapel Royal at St James's Palace at 3 pm on Wednesday afternoon.

The royal couple have chosen to break tradition with a 'small' and 'intimate' affair in the Royal Chapel, as opposed to the Music Room at Buckingham Palace – where Prince William, Prince Charles, Prince Andrew and Princess Anne were all baptised – or the private chapel of the royal residence, where the Queen herself was christened.

HELLO! Online take a look inside the chosen chapel. Steeped in history, with an intimate atmosphere and beautiful stained glass windows, see where William and Kate and their nearest and dearest will gather on Wednesday for Prince George's christening.
