Some of us would love to escape on a winter sun holiday, and some of us already have. Ronan Keating and girlfriend Storm Uechtritz have shared plenty of snaps of their wonderful New Year break in the paradisiacal Maldives – complete with pristine coral reefs and breathtaking Indian Ocean sea-views – that are enough to make the best of us green with envy.And the former Boyzone star and current X Factor Australia judge didn't hold back on giving fans a glimpse into their idyllic retreat. Ronan, 36, posted a snap of the pair standing arm in arm, seemingly standing on the Indian Ocean. "Yes!!!!! @StormUechtritz can walk on Water. Greetings from the #ViceroyMaldives," he captioned it.

The pair are beaming from ear-to-ear – understandable given they have been residing at the luxury five-star Viceroy Resort and Spa since their arrival on Friday night – where rooms average around $1,000 a night.

A photograph of Ronan and Storm shows the couple lounging on a bed in the sun, secluded by bamboo sticks. Dressed in casual holiday gear, Ronan looks relaxed in a turquoise t-shirt and blue shorts as he holds his Aviator shades, and Storm looks lovely in a blue top and yellow shorts, a colourful necklace adding another pop of colour, and pretty t-strap sandals.

Alongside a picture of Ronan with flippers and snorkel in hand, Storm wrote: "Now that he's gone all PADI on us, I can't keep him out of the water haha #hottie #mybaba @rokeating."
