Ibiza: why the stylish Spanish island is the place to be this summer

Everyone who is anyone is in Ibiza this summer. Supermodels Kate Moss and Naomi Campbell have been partying on the stylish Spanish island with reality TV queen Kim Kardashian and husband Kanye West. Will Smith and Calvin Harris posed for a selfie together at Amnesia nightclub, and Baby singer Justin Bieber has been getting some yacht action with Michelle Rodriguez and her boyfriend Zac Efron. We take a look at why the likes of Orlando Bloom, Leonardo DiCaprio, Paris Hilton, Lindsay Lohan and Millie Mackintosh – who are just a few other celebrities who've touched down in Ibiza – have been drawn to the tropical island this summer.

Amnesia nightclubWill Smith got jiggy with it with Scottish DJ Calvin Harris at Amnesia nightclub, where Paris Hilton is a frequent DJ. Nights at the award-winning Amnesia get started at about midnight and go through the night 'til dawn, promising for an unforgettable club experience.

Horse stud farm Los Olivios, San Rafael From Kim Kardashian to Kate Moss, celebrities from the world of fashion, music and film lined up to attend Givenchy's Riccardo Tisci's 40th birthday party in Ibiza. Guests including Justin Bieber, Naomi Campbell, Joan Smalls, Anna Dello Russo and P Diddy found themselves at the horse stud farm Los Olivios. The enormous estate, which covers 80,000 square metres, houses 32 thoroughbred Andalucian horses who even have their own swimming pool.

PachaCelebrities hit Pacha every year for some true VIP style. The world-famous club, with franchises in London, New York, and Buenos Aires, was first established on a beach in Stiges in 1967 before opening in Ibiza on 1973. Cipriani restaurant Justin Bieber and Orlando Bloom had everyone talking about their recent exchange of words, which took place at A-list favourite Cipriani restaurant. The snazzy nightspot is set over two floors in the east wing of the Ibiza Gran Hotel, with stunning views of the harbour and Old Ibiza Town.

Beaches By night, Ibiza is moving to the beat of club tunes. By day, the stylish island's beaches are where it’s at. From secluded coves and unspoilt bays to iconic Ibiza beaches and sunset spots, this party island has it all. Don't miss Cala Bassa, a beautiful bay easily accessible by boat or bus from San Antonio, or Cala d'Hort, which is part of a National Park, for a taste of nature.

Water sportsJustin Bieber was spotted enjoying some time out on a yacht with Fast and Furious actress Michelle Rodriguez, before hopping on a jet ski. English footballer Steven Gerard also recently enjoyed time out on his family holiday in Ibiza with a stint on a pedalo, showing that Ibiza offers more tan its famous nightlife.

Privilege nightclub A 10,000 person venue that is billed as the largest in the world, Privilege is complete with 25 metre-high ceilings and tall windows offering picturesque views of surrounding Ibiza that will ensure you never feel cramped. There's even a swimming pool so that Privilege-goers can cool off mid-party.
