Heading to Los Angeles and don't know where to start? We're here to help! HELLO! Online recently visited the City of Angels; here are our top tips...Where to eat:There are countless restaurants in Los Angeles, most of them very good. But our favourite picks are the Polo Lounge for lunch and Sur Lounge for dinner.

aaa 1

The Polo Lounge is situated in the iconic Beverly Hills Hotel. A hotspot for generations of stars and Hollywood deal-makers, you're bound to spot a famous face or two as you eat on the lavish patio – Leonardo DiCaprio happened to be dining at the same time as us.Sur Lounge, the star of Reality TV show Vanderpump Rules, is an opulent dinner spot designed to give you the star treatment. With attentive staff and delicious food in a stunning setting, it's a must-do when you're visiting Los Angeles.

Where to stay:We stayed at the Hotel Palomar, a lovely boutique hotel situated on Wiltshire Boulevard within walking distance of the hub of Westwood Village. Many of the spacious, luxury rooms over panoramic views of the city and wine hour –a time for all guests to gather in the lobby and drink complimentary wine every day.

What to see:The Getty Museum is an incredible venue for those interested in art. If celebrity culture is more of your thing, check out Madame Tussauds – there's hours of fun to be had taking selfies with waxworks of your favourite stars!

If it's a full day out you're looking for, head to Disneyland in Anaheim – the iconic theme park guarantees a truly magical family day out.
