"It wasn't a surprise, but Jen planned the whole thing," a friend told Us Weekly, adding that the lovebirds made the most of their downtime in tropical paradise, relaxing in the spectacular setting. "Jen and Justin both have reading lists," the source said. "When they go away they like to catch up on their literature."

The pair stayed in the uber luxurious resort, the Four Seasons, for their one-week stay in the most famous of French Polynesia's Leeward Islands in the South Pacific.A night in one of the resort's hideaway over-water bungalows overlooking the breathtaking Bora Bora lagoon comes with a price tag of around $1,500. But cost proved to be no obstacle for the special occasion, and what may even have been a scout for the perfect place to tie the knot.

Just last month, Jennifer's wedding planner Kevin Lee revealed that the couple's low key, imminent, nuptials were set to take place "by the ocean". "Jennifer and Justin are getting married right by the ocean, so it will be a beach meets California modern-chic sort of thing," he said. "She is going to have it out of the country," he told Radar Online, adding that the nearlyweds are planning on having a traditional wedding with a modern twist.

"Beach weddings are a lot of fun because there are ton of beautiful venues and ocean views. It is the ideal location. There is definitely a trend in summer wedding right now. This year we are doing with more a vintage style. It is more grey, comfortable and earthy tones with the flowers," he said.
