Sadie Frost says she lives a quiet life these days, but she still has a more glamorous, high-octane existence than most. As an early birthday celebration for her 50th, the actress and producer gathered close girl friends including Kate Moss for the party of a lifetime on the shores of the Aegean sea in Turkey.
However, rather than indulge in any high jinks, the former Primrose Hill set spent the time meditating, getting up early for morning yoga practice and enjoying water sports. In pictures shared with thousands of Instagram followers, the mother-of-four looked relaxed, glowing with vitality and happier than ever as she showed off her yoga-toned curves with her friends.
Sadie, whose milestone birthday is actually on June 19, also shared details of her holiday detox at the Lifeco Center in Bodrum. She got in ship shape condition through ten days of juicing and a day of raw food - although the week did end with a pizza and a glass of wine as a treat.
Her group of girl pals included Tony award-winning actress Frances Ruffelles, who is the daughter of theatre school founder Sylvia Young and the mother of singer Eliza Doolittle.
Also on hand was party planner extraordinaire Fran Cutler and Sadie's business partner Jemima French who collaborates with her on their eponymous fashion label FrostFrench.
There was one mildly rock 'n' roll moment when Kate was escorted off an easyJet plane on her way back for allegedly being disruptive. Police at Luton Airport confirmed that officers attended to assist with escorting a passenger, but confirmed that no one was arrested.
It's a wonderful time for Sadie as she enters her fab 50s - her son Finlay, whose father is Gary Kemp, has just been signed to Atlantic Records. Her children by her other ex-husband Jude Law are doing well too. Rafferty has a band and is making a name for himself in the world of modelling. Meanwhile, Iris and Rudy are still in school.
The multi-tasking mother told the Telegraph that her house is like "an episode of Skins with all the teenagers running around having fun; I’m the granny in my pyjamas. All of my children’s friends are always here. That’s how I was brought up."
That isn't the whole story, though, as she also has a boyfriend. Sadie doesn't name him in the interview, but does mention that she put a lot of thought into his recent birthday present, suggesting that he is someone special.
