The 'very special' Scottish estate where Ronan Keating and Storm Uechtritz said 'I do'

August 18, 2015

Ronan Keating and Storm Uechtritz tied the knot on Monday, and the Boyzone star and his TV executive and model fiancée chose to say "I do" in the wonderful surrounds of luxury estate and golf club, Archerfield House.

The country retreat in East Lothian, just outside the village of Dirleton, a short drive from Edinburgh and set amidst 500 acres of lush green countryside, has been firmly on the map for the Life is a Rollercoaster singer for some time – Ronan enjoyed a round of golf there in May, just a few months prior to his nuptials. The happy couple were joined by the likes of Dannii Minogue and Ronan's bandmates Shane Lynch and Mikey Graham, as well as Storm's family who had flown in from Down Under, at the picturesque hideway, which offers stunning coastal views alongside spa facilities, a waterfront marina village and impressive golf course.

Archerfield can host weddings for up to 200 guests at its waterfront with more intimate weddings for up to 60 guests inside the Mansion House.

Guests at the resort will be spoiled for choice when it comes to accommodation. Archerfield House, The Pavilions, The Lodges, Marine Villa, The Boathouse, and the Marine Villa, which is set on the sea front and boasts beautiful vistas of the small island, all make for a memorable stay.

There are a number of settings available for weddings from 60 to 200

Ronan and Storm's celebrity-dotted guestlist will no doubt be getting comfortable on the estate, as the couple are understood to have completely booked out the property for four days of festivities.A longtime fan of the resort and golf club, Ronan told the Herald: "All of our families are going to be there – everyone. Rather than doing it in Australia or in Ireland we said we’d go to neutral ground and meet there."

The Irish star added: "It's a very special place for us. I'm just in charge of the music and entertainment. Maybe Boyzone will perform – we'll all be there so it would be rude not to do something."
