Beyoncé Knowles and Jay Z's 'dolce vita' on luxe yacht holiday around Capri, the Amalfi Coast and Sardinia

September 18, 2015

Beyoncé Knowles and Jay Z are famous the world over, so there's little wonder the superstars opted for a private holiday aboard a $900,000-a-week super yacht this summer. The power couple were joined by their daughter Blue Ivy and Beyoncé's former Destiny's Child bandmate Kelly Rowland on their luxury holiday, which saw them fly to Naples, Italy, before making stops along Capri, the Amalfi Coast and Italian island Sardinia.

According to a source, queen Bey and her hubby love la dolce vita so much that it's become a "tradition". They told Us Weekly: "Almost every September, they head to Italy and France and charter an überluxe yacht for a week or two." And the If I Were A Boy singer thrilled her 45.7 million Instagram followers by sharing several snaps while touring aboard the super yacht named the Galactica Star.

Shots included the songstress relaxing on the top deck with a glass of Champagne in her hand, her posing with her and Jay Z's three-year-old daughter Blue, and her rapper hubby enjoying the sights as a boat sailed by in a black-and-white picture. More scenic photographs – featuring the sparkling sea and clear blue skies – no doubt had her fans wishing they were there. The handsome duo looked crazy in love on holiday, as they were pictured embracing aboard the yacht in Sardinia, Italy.

They certainly have a soft spot for this glamorous part of the world – they holidayed in Italy once already this year when they went to Florence for a wedding. Naturally, they made the most of being in the land of gelato, pizza, and art and Beyoncé shared their travel highlights with fans – a carousel ride in Florence's Piazza della Repubblica, a trip to the Accademia di Belle Arti di Firenze, and of course, a margherita pizza.
