The line-up for Glastonbury Festival has been released, with Katy Perry and Stormzy among the acts set to make their debut at Worthy Farm in 2017. Some 88 acts have been added to the bill joining headliners Ed Sheeran, Foo Fighters and Radiohead between 21-25 June.

Chained to the Rhythm singer Katy was particularly excited about making her first appearance at the festival, and shared a post on Instagram writing: "Can't wait to see you and hopefully catch a cold lol @glastofest." She is among a diverse range of artists set to perform at the festival with grime acts Stormzy, Kano and Wiley all added to the bill for 2017.

Meanwhile Barry Gibb will follow in the footsteps of acts including Dolly Parton and Lionel Richie by playing Sunday evening's teatime slot. Other highlights include performances from Solange Knowles, Chic, Lorde and Biffy Clyro, who also shared a graphic confirming that they would be playing at the festival. While the line-up currently reads as a who's-who in the music world, the Glastonbury organisers have said many more acts and attractions are yet to be announced.

Unfortunately tickets have already sold out, however there will be a ticket resale in April if people who paid their initial deposit in October are since unable to attend. It will also be the last Glastonbury Festival until 2019, with the festival set to take a year off in 2018 to allow the farm – and local villagers – some respite.

Ed Sheeran was confirmed as the third headliner at the festival earlier this month, and said he "can't wait" in a video posted on Instagram. He will play the iconic Pyramid Stage on Sunday evening, following on from headliners Radiohead on Friday and Foo Fighters on Saturday, who are making their long-awaited return to the festival after being forced to cancel their headline slot in 2015.
