Tom and Giovanna Fletcher have jetted off for a well-earned family holiday with their sons Buzz and Buddy. The couple have been enjoying a break in Orlando, Florida, since the weekend and have wasted no time in exploring the famous theme parks, including Walt Disney World's Magic Kingdom.

Both Tom and Giovanna have been keeping fans updated with photos taken from the family getaway, starting with their visit to the Virgin Atlantic Lounge at the airport, where HELLO! Online blogger Giovanna joined her sons to play a racing game ahead of their long-haul flight.

Since arriving in the States the family have paid a visit to Magic Kingdom, where Buzz and Buddy would have been able to enjoy the rides and interact with iconic Disney characters, as well as paying a visit to the Cinderella Castle, which Tom described as "magic" in an Instagram post. The McFly star also revealed he had experienced an amazing start to the holiday in another photo shared on Monday. "Waking up to a rocket launch across the sunrise over @waltdisneyworld… best start to a holiday ever?" Tom wrote.

The couple also revealed that their family holiday had taken a surprising turn after Tom's sister Carrie Hope Fletcher flew out to surprise them. "Just had a surprise guest show up to crash our holiday," Tom captioned a photo of himself and his sister together, while Giovanna told fans: "We've had a surprise holiday gatecrasher and I couldn't be happier! Aaaah @carriehopefletcher, we're going to have so much fun!!! Xxxx"

Explaining her decision to surprise her brother on holiday, Carrie, who is currently starring in a stage production of The Addams Family, tweeted: "The fam booked to go to DisneyWorld not knowing they'd booked over my week off from Addams… so guess where I am right now?! #Surprise."

Tom and Giovanna aren't the only famous faces to pay a visit to Walt Disney World in recent weeks; Holly Willoughby also took her family on a holiday to the resort over the Easter break, where they had "the best seats in the house" to watch Ant and Dec broadcast their live finale of Ant and Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway.
