Natalie Portman has invested in an incredible £5million ($6.5million) mansion located near the Californian coast in Montecito, close to Santa Barbara. The mother-of-two and her husband Benjamin Millepied have found the perfect retreat in the four bedroom, five bathroom property, which sits on a 10.4 acre estate overlooking the Pacific Ocean.

The property is built from steel, glass and concrete with rooms spread over one level on a 3,991 square foot estate. It has a modern and neutral décor with a state-of-the-art kitchen, spa-style bathrooms and a huge outdoor terrace complete with an al fresco dining area, swimming pool and beautiful landscaped gardens.

Natalie's new property has four bedrooms, including this small guestroom which features a double bed and direct access on to the home's 10.4 acres of gardens via a glass patio door. The room would be ideal for Natalie and Benjamin's guests, or could be converted for the actress' two children Aleph and Amalia.

The master bedroom of the property also has huge sliding glass doors that lead onto the terrace, offering enviable views across the nearby Pacific Ocean. As well as having a large king-size bed and separate seating area, the bedroom also has an en-suite bathroom with a free-standing bath tub and wet room.

The property has an open plan design with a modern kitchen complete with breakfast bar at the centre, which is surrounded by a relaxed seating area with armchairs and coffee table for Natalie and her family to relax at.
