With acres of colourful delphiniums and cornflowers, the Confetti Flower Fields in Worcestershire have attracted thousands of visitors over the last 20 years. Many people travel long distances across the country in order to explore the estate, which offers visitors the opportunity to stroll through the flowers while taking in the stunning views across Bredon Hill and the surrounding countryside.

STORY: Where to see beautiful flower fields and displays in the UK

If you too want to wander through the beautiful fields, buy some flowers, or capture the perfect Instagram photo you'll have to get in quick, as the fields are only open to the public for one week a year.

A Union Jack Flower Field has been grown to celebrate the 20th anniversary of growing confetti

Summer 2017 marks the business' 20th year of growing confetti petals, and to celebrate the fields – complete with a special Union Jack flower flag field – are open from 10am-5pm every day up until Sunday 9 July. After this time the petals from the best blooms are carefully handpicked to create the highest quality confetti, while the rest are ploughed back into the soil to enrich the ground for the next year.

Fancy a visit? The Confetti Flower Fields are located on the Wyke Manor Estate near Pershore, Worcestershire, and are open between 30 June and 9 July 2017. Admission is £2.50 per person, with free entry for children under 16 who are accompanied by an adult. Scores of visitors have already been sharing their photos from the flower fields – see some of our favourites below…
