1 Tonight Josephine Bar London

There's no denying it, we all love finding that perfect place for an Instagram-winning shot. With the UK's bars becoming increasingly more photogenic, we've decided that there's no point in fighting the urge this summer; it's time to wholeheartedly embrace those photo ops. Luckily, our friends at DesignMyNight know exactly where to find Insta-worthy places across the country, from a neon girl power-themed bar in Waterloo to a seaside in the sky, it's time to get your phones and filters at the ready.

Tonight Josephine - London

With a "well behaved women don't make history" neon light adorning the wall, you know from the off this bar is going to be an Insta gem. Inspired by Josephine De Beauharnais' rise from a girl about town to Empress of the French; the sass and girl power is reflected in the venue's fun neon decor and slogans. Oozing a space-age feel and boasting an impressive cocktail list, this spot is perfect for an ultimate girls' night out.

Dalloway Terrace - London

Inspired by Virginia Woolf's 1925 novel, Dalloway Terrace is one of London’s prettiest al fresco drinking spots; doubling up as a seriously beautiful Instagram opportunity too. Covered in white flowers, fairy lights and candlelit tables for two, its picturesque charm is nothing short of spectacular. With an all-day menu and dreamy summer cocktail list, this place is the ultimate date night spot.

Neighbourhood - Liverpool

Modelled on the vibrant drinking hangouts of New York and Miami, this Liverpool gem oozes glam vibes with love-at-first-sight inducing decor. We're talking pink and yellow leather seating, white marble tables, sky-high ceilings, plenty of neon and a dazzling array of gold light fixtures. Needless to say, this bar was destined to end up on your Insta feed.

The Hockley Arts Club - Nottingham

The Hockley Arts Club in Nottingham is set across three levels, each rocking a distinct look. Whether you want to chill in a retro Scandinavian-inspired bar or have a cocktail in their brooding blue tone room, you can expect mix mash lampshades, chesterfield sofas, hints of neon and floral furniture to boot, alongside a garden-themed gin and prosecco bar. If this place wasn’t made for Instagram, we really don’t where was.

Sketch - London

Arguably the most Instagrammed London bar ever, The Gallery at Sketch has the kind of charm that has to be seen to be believed. Imagine a pink-obsessed fairy has had its wicked way with this gem; think velvet furniture, golden lamps and David Shrigley's comical cartoon-esque artwork adorning the walls. Just when you thought things couldn't get any more aesthetically-pleasing, just wait till you see their space-age egg pod loos...

Craft - London

Set in Greenwich Peninsula Square, Craft not only boasts stunning views of London, its interiors were made for Instagram. It's decked out with floor to ceiling windows, plush purple seats, extraordinary hanging lights and a stunning Scottish Tweed ceiling. If you're after a night of decadence in a pretty-as-a-picture setting, this is it.

Searcys at the Gherkin - London

We don't need to tell you Searcys at the Gherkin is an absolute charmer; those 39th floor views speak for themselves. But this summer they've seriously upped their Insta game, with a brand new Beach Hut Bar pop-up. Promising a British seaside in the sky; there will be crisp glasses of British Nyetimber bubbles or Plymouth gin cocktails to sip on, alongside meat and seafood sharing boards. You best hurry down though, as the seaside closes on 1st September.

Bourne & Hollingsworth Buildings - London

If you're looking for a picturesque summer dining spot, there’s no place like Bourne & Hollingsworth’s greenhouse. The space is decked out with pretty patterned armchairs that provide a pop of colour to a background of white brick walls and masses of green foliage. Serving brunch through to dinner, this is a fairytale spot worth discovering for yourself.

Tattu - Manchester

Tattu is a beautifully-designed Pan Asian restaurant in the heart of Manchester. The Eastern cuisine served is reflected in the stunning decor; think masses of pink Japanese blossoms amid a sleek art deco backdrop. When you're finished snapping the glamourous design, turn your attention to their delectable cocktail and dim sum menu.

The Voodoo Rooms - Edinburgh

If you're into old fashioned glamour, you'll fall in love with The Voodoo Rooms in Edinburgh. The dining room is a sight to behold; a blue and gold colour scheme covers ornately decorated sky high ceilings and huge arched windows, with plush booths to dine in. When you're done snapping away, you can make your way through the delicious food and drink menu.
