Comedienne Rashida Jones created her new luggage line to "take the weight off" the backs of stressed out travellers. The former Parks and Recreation star is no stranger to the jet-set life and when she started coming up with ideas for her new capsule collection for top suitcase firm Away, she designed The Stockholm Tote to literally lighten the load.
"Try not to check luggage if you're on a short enough trip - you're always better off just having your things with you," she advised fans in an interview with U.S. InStyle before explaining the negative impacts of carrying around heavy luggage.

"I think we underestimate the toll that carrying luggage has on us, especially if you travel a lot," she added. "Anything you can do to take bags off your back (is a great thing), which was the inspiration for the tote because you can cross-body it, but it also has that great slat so you can stick it over the handle of your bag and take the weight off your body."
Rashida has other health concerns when it comes to travel - she uses vitamin boosts to stave off colds that are easy to pick up on planes.
Rashida's colourful selection of suitcases
"I always try to protect my immune system, so I bring Wet Ones; I put this stuff called doTerra On Guard, which is an essential oil, on my hands to help with immunity," she shared. "Then I try to wash my hands as much as I can and stay hydrated."
Rashida's Away: Edition RJ capsule line is now available for sale on the Away website, with a price tag from $45 (£35) to $295 (£230) per item. The collection, which was inspired by one of the star's favourite Scandinavian cities, Stockholm, Sweden, features packing cubes, a travel tote, and special designs in Away's classic suitcase sizes.
