You can now bag some stylish homeware while doing your weekly shop, thanks to a new collection at Morrisons. The supermarket has launched a 1,500 product line of home and kitchenware, with a highlight being the Scandi-inspired capsule collection, which all costs under £15.
The Scandi Chic collection features 40 modern home accessories such as a clock, cushions and vases, which could all pass for much more expensive, luxury lines. No one need know they cost as little as £2! Each piece has been made using high quality natural materials including cottons, linens, acacia wood, glass and marble, with a neutral colour palette of whites, greys and blacks, with mustard tones adding a pop of colour.

Morrisons has launched a new homeware collection
Among our favourite pieces from the collection are the bamboo and linen tripod table lamp, which is a snip at £15 compared to a similar design at Habitat that costs £100. And the accessories such as the geometric print cushion (£8) and geo-design clock (£8) are great ways to give your home an on-trend update for less than £10.

Scandinavian styling is a key trend for winter, with cosy textiles, neutral colour schemes and geometric patterns some of the major themes of the look. Paul O'Donovan, Senior Design Manager at Morrisons, has also advised that anyone hoping to create the Scandi look at home pay attention to lighting, using candles as well as electric lights to "create atmosphere". In addition he says that bright colours can be introduced to a neutral colour scheme "to add bold accents to a room".
The Morrisons home range costs as little as £2
A growing number of retailers are making the venture into homeware; Monsoon recently unveiled its debut HOME by Monsoon collection, which features 80 stylish pieces influenced by the fashion brand's signature style. Meanwhile New Look also has a growing homeware range that includes trend-inspired bedding and accessories, all under £28.
Meanwhile celebrities including Amanda Holden and Holly Willoughby also have their own homeware collections. Britain's Got Talent judge Amanda launched her Bundleberry collection on QVC in June, while Holly has a successful range that is available at Dunelm.
