Jennie Bond has helped charity Dreams Come True to celebrate its 30th anniversary by joining a recent trip to Orlando, Florida with 13 children and their families. The broadcaster said it was "lovely" to be part of something so worthwhile and rewarding as she joined the group on their first night at the CLC Regal Oaks holiday resort.

Dreams Come True has helped thousands of children and young people with serious and life-limiting medical conditions to fulfil their dreams over the past 30 years. In May, they took a group to the theme park capital, where they had the opportunity to visit Walt Disney World.

"It was lovely to see so many excited and happy faces. It means a lot to me, both personally and as CLC World Resorts & Hotel’s ambassador, to be part of something so worthwhile and rewarding," Jennie said.

Richard Ashton, chief executive of Dreams Come True added: "Dreams Come True's purpose is to bring some light, create some amazing memories and make a real difference to those children and young people who need it most. We are constantly humbled by the stories that we hear and are amazed at the fortitude, spirit and can-do attitude of our dream recipients and their families. To be able to run this group trip to Orlando is amazing and we are indebted to CLC World Resorts & Hotels for their continued help and support - it is because of them that we are able to offer such a wonderful trip to Florida and allow more dreams to come true."
