Kate Garraway joined her family for a British staycation in Cornwall during the half-term holiday, and they certainly appear to have made the most of their time at the coast. The Good Morning Britain presenter shared photos from their getaway on Instagram, revealing they had completed activities such as bodyboarding and cycling together.
The group appeared to include Kate, her husband Derek and their two children, as well as the extended family. In one photo showing the Garraways at the beach over the bank holiday weekend, the 51-year-old wrote: "So half the Garraway clan have arrived – yep I am afraid there are more on the way!"

They also took to the beach to try their hand at bodyboarding, with Kate admitting although it was far from glamourous, she had a lot of fun. "And when you catch a wave with your 12 year old and whoosh in together it almost feels like surfing!" Kate captioned a blurry photo of herself and her daughter Darcey riding the waves.

Although Kate didn't reveal where the family stayed, some suggested it looked like she was in Polzeath, while other fans commented to say they were in Padstow. Both areas are popular with holidaymakers thanks to their beautiful beaches and family-friendly activities, with Jamie and Jools Oliver among the other famous faces to have visited with their children in the last year.
