The Beckhams family holiday in Bali got off to a dramatic start when the 7.0 magnitude earthquake struck the neighbouring island of Lombok on Sunday. David and Victoria Beckham were said to be around 60 miles away from the epicentre of the earthquake – which killed 142 people - on a summer break with their children Brooklyn, Romeo, Cruz and Harper.
None of the family have posted on social media since touching down in Bali, but other celebrities including Chrissy Teigen and Gary Barlow, who were also holidaying on the island, have shared their own messages after the earthquake struck. Taking to Twitter, the Take That band member wrote: "Thank you for your concern – we're all fine - a bit shaken up." He later added: "Thank you Bali for a peaceful and meaningful break. Such a shame it all came to an abrupt end. Praying for the beautiful people of this region who've been affected by the Earthquake."

The Beckhams Indonesian holiday comes shortly after their return from Los Angeles, where they spent some time at their "second home" with Gordon Ramsay, his wife Tana and their children. The lucky family have also enjoyed another break in Montenegro, where they stayed at the small island and five-star hotel resort of Aman Sveti Stefan, located near Budva, which offers stunning sea views and privacy away from the public eye.

The seaside hideaway has beautiful beaches and traditional accommodation including cottages and suites. A one-night stay in the suite costs from €6,053 (around £5,380) per night – small change to the Beckhams! And they appear to have made the most of their time on the picturesque island, spending their days on the beach and trying out watersports like paddleboarding and taking a boat trip off the coast, as well as floating around in the sea on a giant swan inflatable.
