Perhaps yoga is more your style - if so the classes at the yoga retreat centre are perfect. The classes don't get crowded, so you benefit from really personal attention from your instructor - they'll get to know you as your stay progresses and you’ll be encouraged to step outside your comfort zone if that’s what you want.
Join a Tennis Group Coaching
The tennis courts and golf courses on-site are really impressive and whether you're looking for a challenging single-player tournament or a relaxing social game, there's something for everyone.
The tennis club is well maintained with a variety of rackets, balls and tennis clothes available. Friendly staff are on hand to assist novices with the rules of the game and the instructors are genuinely knowledgeable - and can give you helpful tips even if you're not taking a private lesson.
With regular competitions for all levels, you can always find an opponent. And it's the perfect place to teach the kids for the first time.
Take a round on a golf course
Vale do Lobo also has two 18-hole golf courses. One has been recently designed and is top of the range with an amazing clubhouse facility. The course design is varied, including a few holes with tricky water hazards. The other course is slightly less challenging and has more trees, so you will have to work a little harder on some of the holes. However, this course has an excellent clubhouse facility with the option of staying on-site in their accommodation.
Get on your bike
There are over 100 miles of scenic cycling trails right on the doorstep of Vale de Lobo, and many different biking tours to choose from. The views are spectacular, and the ride is smooth. The perfect way to connect with nature.
Enjoy the Evening Sound Ceremony
This was a new one for us - the Vale Do Lobo hosts a special evening sound ceremony, requiring you to relax, lie down and listen to the soft, soothing sounds of Alchemy bowls. It feels a bit unusual at first but promises healing benefits to your mind and body, by helping to release stagnant energy. Give it a go and see what you think.

Spikes restaurant offers an array of cuisine options from around the world and is popular among locals and tourists alike. The food served at Spikes is a fusion of international flavors with different-sized meals for every appetite. It's all great - from soups and salads, fresh sea fish and grills, and prawns to the huge variety of desserts prepared specially by Chef Maurice Bhelaj.

U&co. is a fine-dining restaurant that offers an à la carte menu with daily changing specials including seafood, meat and vegetarian dishes. U&co. has an enviable location overlooking the ocean’s edge near the ParTee mini golf. Its contemporary interior reflects its modern Portuguese cuisine and elegant ambiance, making it the perfect place for a romantic candlelit dinner or social gathering with friends and family.

Well
Well is a restaurant ideally located above the Vale do Lobo beach. If you love sushi you will love this restaurant, but if you don’t it also offers other choices like baguettes, burgers, and vegetarian options. It is also a cocktail bar where you can sit and have drinks with friends and family by the swimming pool.

Sandbanks Restaurant
Located in the heart of Vale do Lobo, just 50 meters from the sea, Sandbanks restaurant offers a spectacular view of the ocean, with a glorious terrace to enjoy the sea breeze.
