If anyone knows how to celebrate a birthday in style, it's Victoria Beckham. The fashion designer marked her 49th birthday earlier this week with a lavish family dinner, surrounded by her husband David and children.
Following the family reunion, however, David whisked his wife away to an undisclosed tropical location as an additional birthday treat. In images shared via social media, Victoria dazzled in a white mini dress with spaghetti straps and a sweetheart neckline as she embraced her husband on a white swathe of beach.
Her recently extended brunette locks cascaded down her back and in true VB style, she accessorised with some black sunglasses to shield her face from the tropical glare of the sun.
David looked casual in shorts and a black T-shirt as he posed for a picturesque photo with his wife, with a margarita in hand. Sharing the snap with fans online, Victoria wrote: "In the Middleton of nowhere with my favourite person @davidbeckham."
As usual, fans flocked to support the happy couple and wish them a relaxing time away. "Happy Birthday Mrs Beckham," one wrote, while another added: "Sooo sweet." A third noted: "Happy Birthday Queen!" and a fourth commented: "What a gorgeous photo."
The Beckhams are seasoned travellers, regularly jetting off to Miami, California and the South of France where they have been known to kick back and relax with stars including Elton John.
While her black LBDs are the most iconic of her outfits, Victoria also has a penchant for a heavenly white dress. The star has increasingly been experimenting with her white tones, spanning floating maxi dresses to her signature minis.
However, a black number was the garment of choice for her birthday dinner on Monday. Fans glimpsed a peak of Victoria's birthday girl attire as the mother-of-four stunned her followers with a video of herself being presented with an epic baked Alaska-style cake topped with pink candles, mint and fresh fruit.
Despite being one of the world's most famous celebrities, fashion mogul VB appeared to cringe as the surrounding restaurant guests started to sing a jubilant rendition of 'Happy Birthday.'
