Serene actress Gwyneth Paltrow and her rock star husband Chris Martin have perfectly balanced up their family with the birth of a baby boy to join their little girl, Apple.
The new arrival, Moses, was born in New York City over the weekend, but no further details were immediately available.
It's a very family time for the 33-year-old Oscar winner, who has recently been directed by her brother Jake in the comedy The Good Night. And though she once said she would take time out of her career to bring up her children, the Shakespeare In Love star seems to be managing to juggle it all – she is signed up for two movie projects in 2006, one of them a Watergate drama and the other a Marlene Dietrich biopic, in which she will take the lead role.
She and Brit Chris, lead singer for the chart-topping group Coldplay, divide their time between the States and Europe, with homes in London and New York. They were reported to have bought birthing pools for both residences.
