Courtney Cox, 50, is thought to be scouting out possible wedding venues in Northern Ireland for her up-coming nuptials to Snow Patrol musician fiancé Johnny Mc Daid, 37. The former Friends star and her soon-to-be husband were given a friendly welcome to the city when they touched down at City of Derry Airport on Wednesday after a romantic getaway to London. Dressed in a burgundy top and jeans, the actress happily posed for pictures with airport staff.

According to reports, this is said to be the first time the star has visited her fiancé's native city and will be meeting her future in-laws in Derry, as well as making time for a spot of sightseeing.Earlier this week, the newly-engaged couple were seen arriving at Heathrow along with Courteney's 10-year-old daughter, Coco, from her relationship with ex-husband, David Arquette. The Cougar Town actress announced her engagement to the musician on Twitter in June, after six months of dating, with a sweet selfie: the actress writing, "I'm engaged to him", and Johnny posting, "I'm engaged to her."
The couple were first spotted together in November 2013 at Jennifer Aniston's party. They were introduced by mutual friend Ed Sheeran, who was among the first to congratulate them on their engagement, simply writing, "yayayayayay. "In an interview with OMG! Insider, Ed spoke about his matchmaking skills. "I wasn't allowed to talk about this, actually, but it's just gone public, so… My housemate (Johnny) who I've lived with for a year, I introduced him to Courteney Cox. They started dating and are crazy about each other."
"I ended up spending a lot of time living in her beach house and therefore bumping into all these random people. We spent Thanksgiving Eve at Jennifer Aniston's before spending the day at Courteney's. "Back in April, the couple themselves spoke about their romance at the premiere of Courteney's directorial debut, Just Before I Go."He supports me in every way," the actress told US Magazine. "He supports me creatively. He really believed in the movie, and not just because he likes me, though I know that helps!"Northern Ireland-born Johnny added, "Courteney is the most confident person I've ever met – at everything. She gets music. She gets art. She gets the way a scene gets constructed, the way dialogue works. And she puts it all together in her mind and then explains it to the world and makes movies that make people laugh and cry, squirm and jump, all those things. "Johnny's band-mates have given the actress their seal of approval, with drummer Johnny Quinn describing her as a "down-to-earth, lovely person. "It will be the second marriage for Courteney, who finalised her divorce from David Arquette in May 2013, just ahead of their 14th wedding anniversary. David welcomed son Charlie with fiancé Christina McLarty in April.
