Kym Marshshowed off her glittering engagement ring during an appearance on Loose Women on Thursday. The Coronation Street actress flashed her sparkler as she opened up about how well her fiancé Dan Hooper has fitted in with her family.
"We're very much a family unit," said mum-of-three Kym.
"You can't be with someone who doesn't love your children."
© Photo: RexPanelist Jane Moore quizzed Kym about how personal trainer Dan went about proposing to her. "Before he proposed to you, I believe Dan asked your older children's permission," she said, to which Kym replied "Yeah he did, he went to them about it."
Former Hear'Say singer Kym added that her 19-year-old son David regularly spends quality time with Dan. "They get on very well," said Kym "David and Dan are really, really good mates. They go out and have a drink together."
© Photo: RexDan and Kym, who have been together for ten months, got engaged in December.The Merseyside-born actress has son David and 17-year-old daughter Emilie from a previous relationship, as well as daughter Polly, three, from her marriage to Hollyoaks star Jamie Lomas.
Kym was also married to ex- EastEnders star Jack Ryder from 2002 to 2009.
Dan has a daughter called Lexi-Grace from his six-year relationship to Hollyoaks actress Stephanie Waring.
