Courteney Cox's daughter Coco is planning her wedding to Johnny McDaid

April 21, 2015

Courteney Cox has an extra-special wedding planner on hand to arrange her nuptials to Snow Patrol star Johnny McDaid. The actress has revealed that her ten-year-old daughter Coco is "very excited" about the wedding and wants to be involved in every step of the planning process.

"Coco is very excited about the wedding. I was going to hire a wedding planner, but apparently she wants to do it," Courteney said during an interview with Ellen DeGeneres. "She's ten, but she wants to do everything. She wants to be the maid of honour, which I think is weird. She wants to be the flower girl, all the bridesmaids. She's very excited about it."

The youngster, whose father is David Arquette, has had some recent wedding experience after her dad tied the knot with entertainment reporter Christina McLarty.

"She's loving this wedding stuff," Courteney said, adding that Coco had even sang two songs at David's wedding on 12 April.

"She's a really good singer. I don't know where she got it from," the 50-year-old revealed. "She did karaoke and she takes singing lessons, but she got the lead in this play, and like I said, she sang two songs. She sang I Will Always Love You at David's wedding. That's a hard song!"

Courteney got engaged to Snow Patrol rocker Johnny in June after dating for six months. The couple were first introduced by their mutual friend Ed Sheeran, who was among the first to congratulate them on their engagement, simply writing, "yayayayayayay".

Despite currently planning their nuptials, Courteney and Johnny have admitted they're in no rush to walk down the aisle.

"We'll get there," Johnny told People on Monday. "I just want to be with this woman for the rest of my life. That is all that matters. The ceremonies are academic."
