England football captain David Beckham is hoping to give his two young sons a sister in the not too distant future. "I'd love a little girl", said the 28-year-old, who is well-known as a devoted father to his boys Brooklyn and Romeo.

"I've got two beautiful sons and would like a girl," he revealed. "Before I had my sons I always wanted a family. Children are so special. They change everyone's lives forever."

And the Real Madrid star also indicated that, when the time comes to retire, he will devote himself to helping other youngsters become great footballers. "I would like to have soccer schools around the world for boys and girls," he said. "Hopefully I will have more children by then."

Becks, who was speaking in an interview with Spanish radio, was also eager to point out how much he is enjoying life in his adopted homeland. "The culture of living with Spanish people was hard to adjust to at first, eating so late at night and playing the game so late," said the midfielder. "But now I enjoy going out for lunch for five hours and I enjoy the social scene. The way I have been welcomed by people has been amazing."
