Ellie Goulding and Dougie Poynter often share loved-up photos together on social media, but now the couple are set to make their debut in print with their first joint photoshoot. The pair gave fans a glimpse at their recent shoot for Rollacoaster magazine on Tuesday, writing: "Coming soon".

The photo shows the couple sitting together on a sofa with a topless Dougie putting his arm around Ellie, who is wearing a black PVC mini dress and strappy shoes.

While it was Dougie and Ellie's first joint photoshoot, it is not the first milestone they have marked together. The musicians both got matching tattoos in March to mark their first anniversary, and Ellie has since hinted that a wedding is not completely out of the question.

"Calvin Harris has already offered to play at our wedding," said Ellie, speaking to Elle magazine as their cover girl. "Not that we've organised one. But the offer has been made."

While at first the lovebirds were keen to keep their romance under wraps, Ellie has now admitted: "He is definitely the one forever. And you know what, when I was a teenager, I fancied him but I thought he was so out of my league. Way too good-looking for me."

Ellie Goulding and Dougie Poynter have been together for over a year

Speaking about her boyfriend's troubled past – which has seen Dougie spend time in rehab for depression, alcohol and substance abuse – the Lights singer added: "He's been through a lot, and he has a quiet depth that I love."

Ellie's relationship is not the only reason she has to smile lately, the 28-year-old is believed to have recorded the new theme song for the upcoming James Bond film Spectre, after facing competition from the likes of Sam Smith and Ed Sheeran.

On Monday the singer dropped her biggest hint yet that she is performing the lead track, by posting a photo of herself leaving Abbey Studios – where Adele recorded the previous Bond movie Skyfall's soundtrack – with the caption "That's a wrap", which many believe is a reference to her finishing the song.
