Kim Kardashian defends Givenchy Met Ball dress

Kim Kardashian has defended the floral Givenchy dress she wore to the 2013 Met Gala  when she was pregnant. The Keeping Up With The Kardashians star divided fashion critics with her Givenchy gown and gloves ensemble, but she has revealed that she 'loved' the look.

"My look at the Met Ball two years ago when I was really pregnant – I had these gloves and this whole floral print and I loved it," she said during an appearance on Channel 9. "I thought it was so cool and it got a lot of criticism and I didn't care because I really loved it."

Kim and Kanye share a close relationship with Riccardo, who designed Kim's stunning wedding dress for their ceremony in Florence, and who has also featured Kim's younger half-sister Kendall Jenner in both his catwalk show and Autumn/Winter 2014 ad campaign.
