Karl Lagerfeld's godson fronts new Chanel campaign with Joan Smalls

Hudson Kroenig may only be five years old, but he is already mingling with some of fashion's biggest names thanks to godfather Karl Lagerfeld. In his latest fashionable endeavour, the adorable little model stars in Chanel's Resort 2014/15 campaign, alongside supermodel Joan Smalls.

In the images shot by Karl himself, Hudson can be seen lounging around the pool in a white shirt and jeans accessorised with an oversized pearl necklace, while Joan poses for the camera in Karl's tweed and patterned designs.

It's not the first time that Hudson has made an appearance for the French fashion house, having walked various of the brand's catwalk shows hand-in-hand with his male model father Brad Kroenig, Karl's muse. The pair also teamed up as the face of Fendi, for whom Karl is also creative director.

Little Hudson added to his ever-growning style credentials when he closed Chanel's 2014 couture show alongside Karl and Cara Delevingne, and featured in Chanel's Little Black Jacket photography exhibition.

Off the catwalk, the tiny runway star melted hearts when Cara shared a sweet video on Instagram of him cheekily teasing Karl after the show, encouraged by the 22-year-old. Running up to Karl, he grabs his hand and interrupts his godfather.

"You're fired!" he giggles, as Chanel's creative director looks bemused before pretending to be shocked and asking, "I'm fired?!".

The Chanel resort collection will be available from November.
