Ever since Alexander Wang announced that he would be creating a capsule collection for high street giant H&M, the fashion world has eagerly waited to see what the designer's collaboration would bring. The wait is finally over, as the full look book of Alexander Wang x H&M designs has been released, ahead of the collection's catwalk debut in New York this week.

Channelling sport luxe, the collection features everything from cropped jumpers to printed dresses and t-shirts, in Alexander's trademark shades of grey and black. Although the collection doesn't hit stores until 6 November, fans got a sneak preview during New York Fashion Week when singer Rihanna stepped out in a head-to-toe outfit from the collection. "
Alexander Wang is one of the most important voices in fashion today," said H&M's creative advisor Margareta van den Bosch. "He understands exactly what people want to wear and does it with an energy and passion that's infectious. It feels incredible to be collaborating with him this year." "I am honoured to be a part of H&M's designer collaborations," added Alexander.

"The work with their team is an exciting, fun process. They are very open to pushing boundaries and to set a platform for creativity. This will be a great way for a wider audience to experience elements of the Alexander Wang brand and lifestyle." The 30-year-old is not the first to design a highly anticipated line for H&M. The high street brand has already collaborated with some of the industry's biggest designers including Karl Lagerfeld, Stella McCartney, Matthew Williamson, Isabel Marant and Roberto Cavalli.
