Halle Berry, 48, looked sensational as she stepped out for the Golden Heart Awards in New York on Thursday, for which she acted as co-chair. All eyes were on the former Bond girl as she showed off her enviable figure in a slim-fitting white dress with navy blue detail, as well as cut-out features offering a glimpse of her flat stomach.

Halle then finished off the look with some black patent stilettos, choosing not to wear any jewellery apart from one elegant ring. The Cloud Atlas actress also debuted a new hairstyle at the charity gala, having chopped off her long tousled locks into a striking short wavy bob. For the rest of her beauty look, Halle chose some glittering eyeshadow teamed with some dramatic black eyeliner, keeping the rest of her make-up natural for a laidback chic red carpet style.
The mother-of-two was not the only actress who upped the style stakes at the star-studded gala. Gossip Girl star Blake Lively wowed in a stretch tulle gown by Michael Kors, who was presenting an award at the gala, showing off her blossoming baby bump.
"I'm going to amp my style by wearing things that are stretchier," she told US Weekly. "Cause that's all that fits!" The 27-year-old teamed her outfit with some dazzling statement jewellery, and chose to wear her long blonde hair tumbling down in waves, finishing off the look with some smokey eye make-up. The Golden Hearts awards saw other stylish guests including Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour making an appearance, as well as models Chanel Iman and Gigi Hadid.
