The A-list came out in full force to celebrate Alexander Wang's highly anticipated collection for high street giant H&M. Leading the pack was Justin Theroux, who was attending the event without fiancée Jennifer Aniston. He was joined by Beyoncé's sister Solange Knowles, and actresses Dakota Fanning, Jessica Chastain and Kate Mara. The model contingent in attendance was made up of Karlie Kloss, Joan Smalls and Irina Shayk, with both Karlie and Joan taking to the catwalk to showcase Alexander's new wares later in the evening.

The starry attendees enjoyed the runway display of the extreme sports-inspired collection, featuring neoprene sweatshirts, strappy, stretchy dresses and leggings – all in shades of black and grey and emblazoned with the Wang logo. Accessories brought the sports vibe to life further, with boxing gloves, scuba accessories, hockey masks and Kinesio tape. The guests were also treated to a performance by Missy Elliot, during which Alexander appeared on stage to dance with her while silver confetti fell from the rafters.

Although the collection doesn't hit stores until 6 November, fans got a sneak preview of the collection during New York Fashion Week when singer Rihanna stepped out in a head-to-toe outfit from the collection. "Alexander Wang is one of the most important voices in fashion today," said H&M's creative advisor Margareta van den Bosch. "He understands exactly what people want to wear and does it with an energy and passion that's infectious. It feels incredible to be collaborating with him this year." "I am honoured to be a part of H&M's designer collaborations," added Alexander.
