All eyes were on Victoria's Secret angels Alessandra Ambrosio and Adriana Lima as they headed to Las Vegas to pose with the lingerie giant's two sparkling Fantasy Bras. The two angels showcased their jaw-dropping figures in dresses which matched the dazzling lingerie creations. Adriana, 33, wowed in a midnight blue floor-length dress which featured sequinned embellishment, which she accessorised with some statement diamond bracelets and matching dark blue nail polish.
The Brazilian beauty wore her hair half up in a sleek style, and opted for a smokey eye makeup look to complete her glamorous ensemble. Meanwhile, Alessandra, 33, chose a daring red velvet dress with a plunging back, sheer panelling and a thigh-high split, giving fans a glimpse of her toned figure. The mother-of-two, who wore her hair down and kept her makeup to a minimum save for her eyes, accessorised with a sparkling statement bracelet and necklace, and finished off the look with some strappy metallic heels.
It is the first time that two bras have been created for a Victoria's Secret fashion show, so it seemed apt that Alessandra and Adriana, two of the brand's longest-standing angels, will model the creations for the brand's runway extravaganza in December. Valued at $2million each, the bras feature 16,000 gems, made up of ruby, sapphire and diamonds, accompanied by 18-karat gold-strung jewellery body pieces. The lingerie, designed by Mouawad, took more than 1,380 hours to create.
"Words can't describe how excited I waswhen I received a call from Victoria's Secret to let me know that I would be wearing it," Alessandra told PEOPLE, having worn the Fantasy Bra before in 2012. "This year was even more special because for the first time two of us would be wearing it and the other Angel was my close friend Alessandra," added Adriana, who has sported the famous bra in 2008 and 2010. "I was super excited. It’s so great to be able to share the honour with such a good friend!"
