Eva Longoria and Victoria Beckham were inseparable as they enjoyed a night out at the Global Gift Gala in London on Monday night. The pair were spotted mingling with the likes of Nicole Scherzinger, as well as Puerto Rican pop star Ricky Martin, who was co-hosting the event with Eva.
Victoria, 40, and Eva, 39 made the ultimate stylish duo in almost identical outfits, both rocking floor-length black gowns with plunging necklines. The pair, who were reunited over the weekend, also chose matching beauty looks consisting of dark brown smokey eyes, nude nail polish, and their hair worn down in tousled waves. The only significant difference between the two fashionistas' ensembles were the accessories.
While fashion designer Victoria completed her look with a statement ring and dazzling earrings, Eva kept her accessories to a minimum, except for a gold mirror box clutch bag and necklace.
The evening was particularly special for Victoria, who was honoured for her charity work. Host Eva took to the stage to introduce her friend in a touching speech, describing the 'amazing work' her best friend had done, and adding that she is 'an amazing voice in this world'. "Tonight is very special for me because I have my two best friends here," said Eva as she took to the stage. "Ricky being one, and Victoria being the other." "She's an amazing voice in this world and the fact that she's choosing to do it for the UN Aids Foundation is just wonderful, and should be applauded and should be recognised." The American actress went on to add that despite Victoria being recognised for her talents as a fashion designer and businesswoman, she was recently named as the UK's most successful entrepreneur of 2014, some of the work the style icon does sometimes goes under the radar. "So many people know Victoria as glamorous and fashionable," said Eva. "They don't know all of this amazing work she's done– the trips she's made to Africa, the dedication she's put to learning all about the cause, it's so admirable, so needed and so worth mentioning tonight."
