Cara Delevingne borrows Georgia May Jagger's Met Ball dress for glitzy night out

Cara Delevingne is renowned for her quirky individual style, however it seems that occasionally turns to her friends for help ahead of glitzy red carpet events. The 22-year-old was spotted rocking the edgy black dress which close pal Georgia May Jagger wore for the 2014 Met Ball.

While celebrities are sometimes spotted wearing the same outfit on the red carpet, on this occasion the striking gown was custom-made for Georgia by designer Thierry Mugler, so it seems that she had personally lent the dress to Cara for the evening. Georgia herself turned heads when she stepped out in the gown last May, but Cara also saw jaws drop as she hit the red carpet. The daring floor-length dress features a plunging neckline, cut-out detail and a thigh-high split, which showcased both British beauties' enviably toned figures. While Georgia chose to complete the look with a pair of black strappy heels, no jewellery and old-Hollywood style wavy hair, Cara opted for a more casual chic style.

The London-born model toughened up the already daring look with a pair of black peep-toe, lace-up boots, and kept accessories to a bare minimum, opting for a simple necklace and ring. It comes as no surprise that Georgia and Cara share a close bond, as they have worked together previously during fashion weeks, walking for high designer catwalks including Fendi.
