Amal Clooney is reportedly in talks to become US Vogue's new cover star
Amal has shot to style icon status ever since she first burst on to the fashion scene during her wedding to Hollywood actor George Clooney. The British-Lebanese beauty wore a breathtaking custom-made Oscar de la Renta gown embroidered with pearls as she tied the knot with George, featuring off-the-shoulder sleeves and a gorgeous lace overlay. It wasn't just her wedding gown which turned heads however, as she showed off her style credentials in a series of chic outfits throughout the weekend from designers including Dolce & Gabbana to Alexander McQueen.
Anna Wintour was a guest at Amal and George Clooney's wedding
Amal's style would no doubt have caught Anna's eye, who was a guest at the star-studded nuptials in Venice last September. Since then, Amal has continued to have fashionistas around the world coveting her chic outfits, and made her dazzling awards season red carpet debut earlier this year at the Golden Globes, where she stole the show in a black Dior Couture dress and white gloves. However, it's not time to get excited about seeing Amal on the cover of the magazine just yet, as she is reportedly hesitant to agree to the interview and photoshoot because of her job as a human rights lawyer and activist.
