David Beckham smoulders in new H&M shoot

January 20, 2015

David Beckham has long enjoyed a good relationship with H&M, collaborating on a hugely successful bodywear range. And now, the footballing legend has taken the partnership a step further, creating an edit of his favourite menswear pieces from the high street giant's Modern Essentials collection. As well as selecting the pieces, David modelled the edit in a shoot in a disused London warehouse. The shoot was directed by Marc Foster, who is known for directing Monster's Ball, Quantum of Solace and World War Z. "I am thrilled to continue and extend my collaboration with H&M by selecting my favourite pieces from this Spring's Modern Essentials collection," said David in a statement.

David Beckham stars in a new campaign for H&M

"Each piece is a new wardrobe classic that will update every man's spring wardrobe with great style. Marc Foster is one of my favourite directors – I can't wait to reveal the new campaign with H&M." Speaking about working with the handsome star, Marc said: "Most of us are familiar with David's innate sense of style and design, however, it was his acute eye for cinematic storytelling that struck me during the filming of this campaign.

"He doesn't make H&M clothing look good, he makes it look great." The new edit - which also coincides with the release of Beckham's latest Bodywear collection - will be available at H&M from March 5.
