Kanye West's highly anticipated collaboration with sportswear brand Adidas will reportedly be unveiled at New York Fashion Week. The 37-year-old rapper, who is married to Kim Kardashian, has designed a range of shoes for the brand, and will reportedly be showcasing them in a catwalk presentation in February.

Speculation was sparked after a buyer reportedly shared a photo of the show invite on his Instagram account, which has since been deleted. Adidas also revealed this week that they will be creating an app specifically for the collection, so that fans can reserve the shoes in their size from nearby stores and pick them up from there. While celebrity collaborations with brands can see mass queues and frantic shopping, such as was the case when Alexander Wang's collection for H&M hit stores, the new app will allow Kanye's fans to shop the collection from the comfort of their own homes.

"We are addressing a real market need," said Adidas vice president of brand activation Simon Atkins in a release. "Until now, the industry standard for reserving hype sneakers has been social media or lottery-based systems, which often result in long lines and unclaimed reservations." It's not the first time that Kanye has designed a pair of coveted sneakers. The father-of-one designed a pair of all red sneakers for Nike in 2009 named 'Air Yeezy', a tribute to his tour name Yeezus. It would not come as a surprise if Kanye does choose to unveil his collection on the catwalk – the Stronger singer is no stranger to fashion week. Not only did he showcase a ready-to-wear collection at Paris Fashion Week in 2012, but the fashion icon made waves with wife Kim on the front row of high fashion shows last September such as Balmain.
