Kanye West had some very famous faces in the front row at his New York Fashion Week show on Thursday - and taking centre stage was the rapper’s proud wife Kim Kardashian and their 20-month-old daughter North West. Kim and her little girl took their seats in the packed venue alongside the queen of fashion, Anna Wintour, and Kanye’s close friends Jay Z and Beyoncé.

Despite being a little fashionista in the making, North found it all a bit overwhelming. She burst into tears shortly before the show began and was quickly and quietly taken backstage to make sure she didn’t interrupt proceedings – Kim was later photographed back in her seat watching the show solo. Kanye had plenty of support for the launch of his Adidas collection, Yeezy Boost; Rihanna, Sean ‘P. Diddy’ Coombs, Justin Bieber, Kris Jenner, Kendall Jenner and Khloe Kardashian were all at the star-studded event, while Kylie Jenner walked the runway in her brother-in-law’s show.

Kylie wasn’t the only celebrity modelling Kanye’s designs – wife Kim was dressed head-to-toe in clothes created by her husband, including a camouflage jacket, dark leotard and stockings, and proudly posted a picture on Instagram of her unusual ensemble ahead of the show. She also shared a sweet snapshot of her and little North running around together before the event got underway.

Despite her tender age – she will turn two in June – North already has notable fashion credentials. She attended her first fashion show, for Balenciaga, back in September, just one month after making her own modelling debut in CR Fashion Book. And she famously appeared with her parents in the pages of Vogue magazine for her very first photo shoot. It’s also been reported that the toddler has her own personal tailor to help maintain her cool fashion sense. “Kim has hired North her own personal tailor,” a source told Grazia magazine. “Whose solo job is to make mini versions of Kim’s designer outfits and ensure that they always coordinate.”
