North West steals the show at Alexander Wang

February 16, 2015

North West has once again proven that she is one of the world's most stylish toddlers, as she joined parents Kim Kardashian and Kanye West on the front row at Alexander Wang's show at New York Fashion Week this weekend, as well as singer Nicki Minaj. The adorable one year old was dressed head-to-toe in a custom-made outfit from the designer which included a patent black jacket and shimmering silver pearled dress.

To complement her high fashion look and keep out the freezing New York temperatures, North wore matching embellished black leggings, and her ensemble was completed with black Doc Martens boots. North seems to be following in mum Kim's fashionable footsteps, as the 34-year-old also wowed in head-to-toe in Alexander Wang, opting for a striking black dress with sheer detail. It comes as no surprise that the stylish mother-and-daughter duo were wearing similar ensemble: North reportedly has her own personal tailor 'whose sole job is to make mini versions of Kim's designer outfits and ensure that they always coordinate', a source recently told Grazia magazine.

Little North was temporarily upset during the catwalk show

Although North is no stranger to the front row, having appeared at shows including dad Kanye's collection for Adidas earlier in the week, and shows including Balenciaga and Givenchy last season, it seems that the little girl became a bit upset during the catwalk presentation, beginning to cry as Kim tried to soothe her. Kanye also made an attempt to cheer up his little girl by giving her big smiles, and eventually she was once again well-behaved after being distracted with some colourful stickers to play with. Meanwhile, 19-year-old model Kendall Jenner, who is Kim's half-sister, once again rocked the runway as she modelled the designer's latest creations alongside Victoria's Secret angel Behati Prinsloo. The Keeping up with the Kardashians star made her Fashion Week debut last year and since then has gone on to walk some of the world's biggest catwalks from Chanel to Fendi, as well as landing major campaigns including one for beauty giant Estee Lauder.
