Gigi Hadid cemented her status as the model of the moment as she kicked off her Fashion Month season walking for Tommy Hilfiger during New York Fashion Week on Monday. The 19-year-old joined supermodels including Jourdan Dunn to storm the American football pitch-themed catwalk, adding yet another designer to her ever growing CV.

Gigi channelled sports luxe in an oversized red leather raincoat with a small American football logo stitched on the chest, a nod to the show's sporty theme. The coat also featured Tommy's signature colours of navy blue and white in thick stripes on the sleeves. For her beauty look, created by renowned make-up artist Pat McGrath, Gigi wore minimal make-up and had her long blonde locks slicked backwards for ultimate laidback luxe. After the show, the American beauty was spotted mingling backstage with Tommy Hilfiger, joined by style icon Olivia Palermo. The show's models also had their own sports trading cards created, where they each rocked a jersey and helmet and revealed their on-field nickname, for which Gigi's was 'G-Force'.

It's been an exciting few months for Gigi, who recently revealed on her Instagram account that she is the new face of Maybelline New York. "I'm so beyond honoured and excited (at a loss of words, really) to be the new face of @Maybelline!" she captioned an image of a behind-the-scenes peek at the campaign images on a computer. Gigi made her Fashion Week debut last year walking in the Desigual show alongside Victoria's Secret angel Candice Swanepoel, and since then her career has continued to skyrocket. She has gone on to walk for high fashion designers including Chanel, Marc Jacobs, Giles and Sonia Rykiel. The young model also sparked speculation that she is the new face of Victoria's Secret Pink after she shared a photo of herself on Instagram on the set of a shoot for the lingerie giant.
