Wherever she is, Kate Hudson stands out from the crowd with her impeccable style and naturally beautiful looks. The 35-year-old lived up to her reputation as a modern day fashion icon as she headed to the Michael Kors show during New York Fashion Week on Thursday.

Kate was a ray of sunshine in a yellow Bardot-style crop top, which she paired with an elegant high-waisted pencil skirt with a yellow and green floral print. The Almost Famous actress accessorised with a nude clutch bag and high heeled shoes, completing the look with a statement red lipstick. Later in the evening, Kate once again upped the style stakes when she headed to the launch of Michael Kors' Miranda Eyewear Collection, turning heads as she showed off her stunning figure in a black sleeveless jumpsuit. The stylish mother-of-two was not the only star to rock a floral print on the front row, as models of the moment Gigi Hadid and Kendall Jenner stormed the runway in feathered jackets and printed dresses from Michael's AW15 collection.

Girls star Alison Williams also chose a crop top and skirt look, opting for midnight blue ensemble with a large yellow floral print. Meanwhile, fashionista Poppy Delevingne kept to the colourful theme in a green dress with spring bloom prints. Olivia Palermo and stylist Rachel Zoe also stepped out to support the designer, both choosing monochrome ensembles. Olivia went for a military-style oversized jacket teamed with a crisp white shirt and black skirt, while Rachel kept out the winter chill by adding a striped coat over her black-and-white ensemble. Meanwhile, Karlie Kloss owned the catwalk as she modelled a shimmering grey floor-length dress, as fellowVictoria's Secret angel Lily Aldridge cheered her on from the front row.
